What This Position is All About:

The Area Sales Manager, Operations is responsible for driving top line sales and bottom line profit; achieving all company objectives and leading and inspiring a high performance team. Area Sales Manager, Operations drives results by overseeing efficiency and productivity of all back of house functions including Door to Floor process, price changes, staffing and scheduling, shortage, and cashiering support.


Who You Are: 

  • Responsible for achievement of Sales, Controllable Profit, EBITDA, Payroll Management, P&L performance, Email Capture rate, Ship from Stores and Store to Store.
  • Supports the selling and service processes; providing leadership and motivation to team in achieving sales goals, driving omni channel growth, and execution of company initiatives. 
  • Oversees the operational and merchandising processes to ensure that Door to Floor standards are maintained and signage and pricing vehicles are current and clear. 
  • Monitors store payroll rate and expense; oversees store staffing, ensuring scheduling aligns with overall business needs and traffic flow. . 
  • Changes, re-ticketing, RTV's, MOOS and mis-mates, Ship from Store, and Store to Store.
  • Organizes back of house area and tools including signage, sign holders, and store supplies. 
  • Manages the inventory shortage strategy, results, and concerns, the Store Audit, and communicates policies and procedures to store population.

You Also Have:

  • 4 year degree preferred.
  • Goal oriented focus, with demonstrated ability to identify, develop, manage and motivate a sales team while driving company initiatives.
  • Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.)
  • Ability to develop, plan and execute strategies to maximize opportunities. 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. 
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules.
  • 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of success managing a selling workforce and achieving results.
