 As a member of the Asset Protection team, you will be accountable for all aspects of Asset Protection as they relate to store and corporate objectives. You will have the ability to work productively with Customer and Associate groups within the store to ensure all objectives are clearly communicated and executed. You have a proven track record of searching out operational deficiencies as they relate to Asset Protection and the ability to apply effective solutions as directed by your District Asset Protection Manager.

  • Knowledge of retail procedures and criminal/ civil proceedings
  • A strong attention to detail and an established asset protection systems proficiency
  • A Valid US  Security Guard License (may be Required, will be reviewed further as part of application process)

As the Uniform Asset Protection Associate, You will: 

  • Actively assist in the coordination of the timely and accurate execution of all asset protection initiatives as per Company standards
  • Effectively use  store communication systems as a vehicle for asset protection initiatives
  • Execute Asset Protection procedures to reduce shortage
  •  Provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist our Asset Protection Investigators
  • Successfully complete all Asset Protection training requirements including CPR and First Aid and maintain personal certifications as required by law 
  • Monitor high shortage areas such as receiving and jewelry as needed; may also perform audit functions 
  • Use two-way communication devices to maintain contact with Asset Protection Investigators and Store Management to ensure store safety 
  • Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, audits, and other activities as assigned by store management
  • Have knowledge of and maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, searches and seizures, and the preservation of evidence 
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality

 Physical Requirements

  • This position involves regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.
  • Extended periods of sitting are also involved. 
  • Some kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling may be involved. 
  • Involves moving and/or lifting at least 30 lbs. 
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • Ability to use restraints in an apprehension. 
  • Ability to sustain long periods enclosed in surveillance areas.
