What This Position Is All About:
The District Vice President is responsible for driving sales, profit, and all relevant metrics in her/ his district through motivating communication, clear standards, actionable plans, and regular follow up. The District Vice President will demonstrate a consistent and tactical focus on growing results through strong execution while leveraging deep knowledge of the local demographic for external and internal customers. The District Manager must demonstrate a constant commitment to integrity, people development, and engagement that promotes the company Core Values and Winning Ways, while driving a culture of high performance.
Responsible for achievement of goals/ objectives in Sales, Controllable Profit, EBITDA, Payroll Management, P&L performance, Email Capture rate, Ship from Stores and omni- channel initiatives.
Responsible for leading all company initiatives by clearly communicating objectives and priorities to the team and works through direct reports to drive results.
Supports the selling and customer service experiences; providing leadership and motivation to team in achieving sales goals, driving omni-channel growth, and execution of company initiatives.
Sustains adherence to the HR policies and procedures. Monitors performance management, compliance, and hiring practices in partnership with RVP.
Manages training, IDP’s and mobility of team, maintaining a proactive talent succession plan to fill open positions by recruiting and hiring quality leaders that think and act like an Owner Operator.
Hires, trains, develops and retains direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibility and providing a bench of internal talent who are upwardly mobile to fill critical positions.
Responsible for maintaining fair and accurate practices within his/ her area including equitable hiring, scheduling, promotions and performance management.
Manages and resolves poor performance and terminations appropriately, in partnership with the Employee Relations Service Center and Legal department, to improve overall productivity and performance of the team.
Oversees the district’s inventory shortage strategy, results, and concerns, the Store Audit, and communicates policies and procedures to the leadership population.
Oversees the merchandise presentation and signage standards in partnership with RVP.
Partners with Merchants and RVP to ensure merchandise assortment represents the customer in the market.
Communicates consistently with the Corporate Visual and Creative team to ensure appropriate direction.
Support Company initiatives and projects as directed.
Adheres to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Key Metrics Sales Profit, EBITDA, Payroll Management, Store Controllable profit, P&L performance, Open Position rate, Email Capture rate, Ship from Stores and Store to Store.
Back of House productivity as measured in CPH
Qualifications
4 year degree preferred.
Goal oriented focus, with demonstrated ability to identify, develop, manage and motivate a leadership team while driving company initiatives.
Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.)
Ability to develop, plan and execute strategies to maximize opportunities.
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules.
10+ years of leadership experience with comparable volume or a proven track record of success managing a selling workforce and achieving results.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $160,000 and $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
